About the Role
TechNova Solutions is a growing IT managed services provider in Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our helpdesk team and deliver first and second line support to our SME client base.
This role offers a pathway to skilled migrant visa sponsorship for the right candidate after a probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support via phone, email, and remote desktop
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and VPN issues
- Maintain asset register and IT documentation
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience in a corporate environment.
Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Microsoft 365 fundamentals knowledge
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Customer-focused with a professional demeanour
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11, MacOS, and common business applications
